CSR Activity- Christmas Celebration with Orphans Children
Christmas is a time for love and sharing. It is fun to receive
gifts. The cake, chocolates, carols, santa ,the blessings of loved
ones all make Christmas a much awaited celebration of the year,
As part of Social responsibility and Vivek Management
principle of SRISIIM , it’s been the tradition of Sri SIIM to
celebrate Christmas and gift giving every year with the less
privileged orphans in the city. This year also, Sri SIIM
celebrated this festival on 23th December with offspring of Bal
Vihar Children Orphanage, Dwarka, New Delhi.
Bal Vihar, meaning “garden of children”, is a home dedicated to
providing a stable and loving family atmosphere to abandoned,
neglected and orphaned children.
Members of CSR “UTTARAN” made Christmas a special day
for the kids in the orphanage by visiting them and spending
quality time with them . The children were happy with all the
attention and the gifts.
The CSR team conducted many funfilled activities for the
expectant kids and involved them into dancing, singing songs
and games like passing the parcels with chocolates as prizes.
Christmas goodie bag for each kid was warmly prepared by CSR
team and gifted to the kids. The kids beamed with excitement
and also performed a dance for the CSR members.
The day ended with the cake cutting and carol singing by CSR
team. The CSR team returned to campus with a heart full of
warmth and blessings for the kids.
